Forgive me for creating a new topic thread, but I thought this seperate question would be worth it's own thread. I just submitted o thread on my possible planchet error. Besides that coin, I have a few Morgan VAMs as well.

Who do you all feel is better for certifying ERROR coins, PCGS or ANACS or someone else?

You mentioned errors, and you mentioned VAMs which are varieties. They are handled differently by the TPG's

For errors, I go to futureworld, and use DGS. (Diamond Grading Service)

For one, your "planchet error" coin is not an error at all. It is post mint damage done by someone long after the coins were minted. There is no reason to try and certify a damaged coin.

Yes, Seal006, it is indeed a man-made " Magicians coin upon close inspection of the edge tonight. The debate now is if the penny is the hollowed out coin or the nickel is. I have the answer, I'll give it in a few days on the other post.

You will give the answer in a few days? Are you a troll?

I'm not a troll. I just got busy and haven't had time to take a picture of the edge, and I didn't want to say it without a pic to illustrate it.

", then withhold info. "

Justin, read the whole thread. The OP stated, "The debate now is if the penny is the hollowed out coin or the nickel is. I have the answer, I'll give it in a few days on the other post." That is being a troll.

Maybe from nw on, rather than help identify errors and varieties for people that post them, I will just wait a couple of days.

Not a troll, just a busy guy. I prefer not just talking about the coins but having photographic backup. I figured you guys wouldnt mind discussing your opinions for a little bit first before I posted it. Especially since its worth little, I'm not trying to sell it, and I saw a few opinions.

Debates can be fun
