Reverse is GENIO POPVLI ROMANI - S F accross fields. Trier mint. The mintmark here is ITR (prbably first officina of Trier mint). Nice coin, really nice legends surviving.

I have been doing a bit of spot treating, and I am getting more impressed with this coin!

There is quite a bit of brilliant green, iron hard patina and it is tricky finding the odd bits of flaky stuff. The silver is all intact and very solid.

I am assuming that I should leave this solid green patina alone. It is very tempting to try and take it back to its original splendour.
