When cleaning out my attic I found these coins. They were really grimey and covered in black stuff so I cleaned them off and this is what I found. Since there were just stuffed into the attic I feel certain that they are just fakes or something worthless but nonetheless I was hoping some kind person on here can shed some light on these for me...

The bottom coin is fake. Would need closer pictures of the rest to tell if the others are too.

Several of the coins pictured appear to have 'doubles' in the group. While not entirely impossible the chances of two ancient coins looking the same when minted are probably less than 1 in 100,000,000. After 2,000 years having two identical coins would be so far beyond normal that I would not be able to count the zeros.
You have a nice collection of 'replicas'.

OK thanks for the help. I figured that they weren't the real thing. Would these be of any value to anybody? Or should I just keep them in my change bucket?

People will buy anything at the 'right' price. I count 23 "coins" in the group. If you put them en masse on ebay (identified as replicas of course) I would not be surprised if they fetched over 50 clams ..... who knows some 'fool' might give you a hundred for the bunch. It all depends if $50 is worth the trouble of your time !
