jullian New Member Philippines 2 Posts	Posted 08/15/2013 12:43 am Hi there, I found several coins in one of my Grandpa's jar and found out that this coin might actually have some value to it. As much as I'd like to get my coin graded by a professional like PCGS or ANA, only problem is I'm from the Philippines and the closest we have is the PCGS in Hong kong. Cutting to the chase, I need your opinion with regards to the grade or maybe just an estimate so I have an idea of its value. Do you think that they used silver for the counterfeit one too? Id like to test if the coin is silver. Maybe get my hopes up as well. Report this Post to the Staff

I am comparing it to a picture and this coin has an 8 that is larger than the one and those notches around the edges are smaller on this coin. The zero is also higher. Joe2007 Pillar of the Community United States 3843 Posts	Posted 08/15/2013 1:09 pm Unfortunately I have to agree with the others in that this coin is not legit but rather a modern counterfeit. It is most likely not silver. Like others have said the date and denticles around the rim don't look right. The details on the coin are also weak. Report this Post to the Staff
