I am not sure this is even a coin. Not sure which side is which or up or down.

I am guessing that the second photo is the obverse and the that the orientation is correct and it is a front facing bust of Heraclius and Heraclius Constantine?

I have an idea.
First, try to figure out if it is even metal, and if possible, what kind. If it is not metal, it really can't be called a coin.
If it is metal, you could try to carbon date it. If you can't do that, you could take it somewhere for appraisal, specifically a place where they know a thing or two about really old coins.

It is either silver or silvered bronze, but I really don't think it is worth the effort!

Wrong color. Wrong texture. Wrong patina.
It's bronze.

Well that sums it up! I scraped the sides looking for bronze and didn't find it. I only have a couple of silver coins and it doesn't feel or look like them.
