I have always had a soft spot for the denarii of Hadrian. He seems to have worn almost as many different outfits as Probus.....
Next up I have a pair of early issue denarii.
The legends on these are very busy and if anyone cares to try and read them they are worth the effort.
Hadrian denarius
Obv:- IMP CAES TRAIAN HADRIANO AVG DIVI TRA, Laureate bust right with light drapery on far shoulder
Rev:- PARTH F DIVI NER NEP P M TR P COS / FORT RED, Fortuna seated left holding rudder and cornucopia
