How can you tell? Are there certain markers to look for? And can anyone grade? Thanks all.

Reflective fields, sharp reeding, and squared rims are all indications of a proof strike.

Accurate grading from your photos is not possible but it is probably somewhere around PR65. The dark areas on the cheek and neck could be scuffs or just a reflection and the mirrored surface needs to be emphasized with the lighting in order to see any possible hairlines. Dim diffuse lighting that gives a matte appearance to a proof is a good way to hide any hairlines and make the coin appear to be "perfect".
