Putting on my tin hat I suspect it is meant to be a 1730 8 reales of some sort. I await the flak from the experts.

The granularity, and the rounded appearance of the letters and devices indicate a cast copy.

The date is actually 1736 and it's actually supposed to be a gold 8 escudos - hence the remnants of gilding you can see on this replica; it was once gold-coloured. 1736 is a common date for these replicas, for some reason; ForgeryNetwork says that these were similar to the type sold at Disney World.

Check the edge. I have one exactly like this, and if it's anything like mine, it has an obvious seam running around the edge.
