I have the Coin World app on my iPad, but now when I open it, it states that Coin World NEXT is currently not available on this device. Has this happened to anyone else?

I am having the same issue. Worked fine for the first couple of months I had it, even purchased the $4.99 access to coin values. I've emailed apple and the publisher (Amos publishing). Apple refunded the $4.99 but have had 6-7 emails with Amos trying to troubleshoot, which is ongoing. I'll let them know someone else is having the same issue. What's odd is that it works fine on my iPhone but not on my iPad. Both are brand new and latest generation and IOS etc...
