Hello,
My grandmother has recently given me this coin. It has signs of silver in it (but not sure!!). I know exactly that it is persian but don't know where and when and whether it is old and precious or not. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks.
The real Coin has a 90 deg rotation.

Yes, sorry to be the bearers of bad news, but I'm afraid this is a replica of a Sassanian drachm. It has the distinctive "melting into the background" appearance of a cast fake.

Thanks for helping me identify it. And you're right I didn't expect it to be real because of the shape and no signs of wear.
