I am surprised that no one has mentioned the holders.
I think you first off need to get some good museum quality 2x2 holders.
I don't have gold but I do know it is expensive and preservation is everything.
The flips you have the coins stored in look to be well worn and intended for short term storage.
More coins are lost to corrosion from PVC in old flips, today I would think you can't buy those holders anymore, but old time collections still have coins in them.
Put a little bit of your money in some good storage for the coins. So they will look as good in 10 years as they did when you bought them and put them away.

Thanks everyone! He's not much of a collector, but he was a pawnbroker for many years (never really dealt with coins) and he would keep what people brought him at his shop.

Also, about the holders, I'm planning on taking them all to get graded along with a couple Carson city Morgan's I have. So they won't be in there for much longer.
