Thanks again Amaths! I really enjoy the hunt for new JM pieces. I know what you mean on the 90% coinage. Sometimes I can find it at good prices. It just takes time looking.

Do you have any solid sources for the 5 gram bars at a decent price?

I have a variety of 5 gram JM bars in my collection. A good deal of them I have purchased on ebay. However most sellers on there that have a buy-it-now option are crazy overpriced. I would suggest you check the newly listed items first and make sure the sellers have reputable feedback.

Abliss, It seems like you weren't awared of the JM 1/2 oz liberty trade round not long ago and now you go 2 different fractional sizes in your possesion. It's quite a feat, congratulations!

NVU, Yes I had to track those JM fractional liberty trade rounds down. I believe I had a bit of luck finding those because they don't show up forsale very often.

Cool shipwreck bar. That is definitely one to keep. They keep a hefty premium for collectors.

Do these pieces styled by Jerry Parker command any premium? Despite they are JMM, they don't seem to generate much interest, do they? In addition, what is going on with the serials? This one has a letter "S" in it: http://www.ebay.com/itm/JOHNSON-MAT...047675.l2557Maybe it was the packaging? Most often, three of them came in one case as a set. The ones with an "S" came as singles?

Amaths, I really like these Johnson Matthey & Mallory silver stamps but it seems they are not as popular as the bars/rounds which means the premiums are different. Yes I have seen that one with the serial "S". I believe they were sold as singles like you said from the ones I have seen. I know there were also sets of 3 of these silver stamps. I know there were at least 2-3 different sets out there. I have a couple of these JM&M silver stamps and 1 JM&M bronze stamp myself. I just haven't pulled the trigger on anymore yet. I've lately been on the hunt for the really rare Johnson Matthey stuff. Nice pick-up!

Yes JMC bars are great as well. I believe Johnson Matthey of Canada made this full set in the late 70s. Those poured bars are really nice with the maple leaf on them.
