coinhooked: Your information is very valuable for us who didn't order from them yet. Why did you have a bad experience with them?

Arianzo, I ordered graded Morgan dollars from them graded by NGC & sent PCGS instead. Not what I ordered. I returned for a refund & was given. My next order was 20 Britannias & sent check (cash payment) & waited 2 months. I called & 1st they tried to say that they received no such order (my check had been cashed by them about 6 weeks prior). They finally sent the order (was by then sold out on their website) & I sent to NGC grading & was not overall happy with the grades I received. No MS70's & not many MS69's. They were poor quality (IMO) although I received in RM packaging. 2 burns are enough for me to seek coins elsewhere.

Just wondering if anyone knows MCM's ship rate to Canada? I'm curious and a little too lazy to check.

I had to check MCM shipping rates for Canada: $29.99 for orders Up to $249.99 & goes increasingly up depending on order total. Wow, I'm blown away on shipping rates to Canada!

MCM ships to Canada via couriers and you wind up in custom clearance paying extra brokerage fees..that was my experience ..but the coins were top rate and the price wasnt that bad but I'm not sure I would do it again... meanwhile check out the Modern Day that sold for 152 bucks.....bidding war between a 14 and a 13 ..Coin Shoppe listing...go figure http://www.ebay.com/itm/IN-STOCK-1-...em1e81a5283amodern day has been hitting good prices lately

Modern Day was my personal favorite & wasn't sure about the Man of Steel-The cape flying really doesn't look right to me.

Quote: Welcome to the NCLT section of CCF... 90% of what you see here is coin flipping - once the rush is over, the threads die quickly. Now and again, you see older NCLT based on a collecting theme (e.g., ships, animals, etc.), I even posted an older hockey coin once where a coin flipper called it "junk". Numismatists, and those who are in the hobby for reasons other than flipping coins just grow weary of this, and generally stop participating. SPP nailed it.

I am both a flipper & numismatist & don't even want to get started with RFD forum. This forum is more level headed, informative & ok, I'll say it-nicer! If you like coins you will follow forums, but only if you like. You do not have to participate to follow.
