@jw-collectibles

No, but I have to exclude them manually. So it's quite possible that some could be included in the previous stats. If you find specific graded coins in my charts, please PM me and I will try to exclude them in the next update.

nice charts once again curse9 ..thanks....Looking at ebay sales over the past holiday season there seem to be a steady pattern emerging with a predictable drop in number of Superman items being offered. The Superman gold coin seems to be selling less in numbers with fewer listed. The price of gold Superman however has not decreased but seems to be holding at around 1500-1700 or better....Most of the 12 or so listings for single coins are in the 18-2500 range. Only two 7 coins sets are available. The big news in the Supermania area has been of course the MCM release of PF 69 and 70 Superman coins which have produced some spectacular prices in ONE OUNZE coins. PF 70 coins are topping 300.00 which is a pretty good incentive to get your Superman coins graded if you want to resell. The downside is that if it comes back PF 69 you may end up losing money!..well I guess at that point you would crack it out of the case and replace it in its nice plexibox original packaging..at least it was worth a try.....So far I havent personally seen any graded gold for sale but I'm sure its out there.....Im thinking about sending out some to NGC but I'm thinking the difference between a 69 and a 70 must be pretty personal depending on the mood of the grader that day.....any thoughts on the subject of grading PR coins?

I just wanted to point out that the number of listings of an item (a few) isn't necessarily related to the market price. So, the fact that we see less listing doesn't mean that people is willing to pay more for them.

looking at the ebay commemorative section over the past 2 weeks for superman coin action...everything seems to have calmed down into a surprisingly stable pattern..average number available is in the low 300s..right now there are some auctions to watch for including a just listed 7 coin set going at a 35.00 start with no bidders yet..im pretty sure this is a rare event along with a gold superman started at a bottom price which is now up to 50 bucks..these types of auction test the current market value for sure..i note that the PR70 silver coins are fetching good prices ..one at bid 275 right now and rising..gold superman has pretty much held its head at above 1500 recently with most listings above 2k...which actually surprises me because I predicted some lower prices for gold this month down to where members like arianzo might be interested....but the month of credit card bill shock isn't over yet and theres always feb to absorb some sacrificed gold..anyways..up up up and away

on ebay there are approx 10 single current superman gold listings between 1700 and 3500..about 50/50 over and under 2k.........i dont think that is going to change much over the next few months..i doubt whether provident metals will keep their stock very long at that price

Provident still has 29 in stock. It was 37 or so a few months ago, albeit at a much higher price.

provident has a good deal..in fact ..outside of ebay it is the best deal for superman gold.....but most dealers are either sold out or selling between 1800-2400..as follows:: coin shoppe 1800 gatewest 2400 talisman 2300 all the other dealers such as col acres APMEX downies are soldout..i predict by summer 2014 superman gold will be averaging 2500.00...its just simple mathematics really..which I've talked about previously..youve got less and less secondary superman gold coins on the market every week..the demand will remain strong for this coin..its a must have coin and if youve paid a secondary price for it you wont sell it for awhile...gosh..arent I a broken record?

"aren't I a broken record?"

Lol, how long ago was it that I said that? As I said before, you are very biased and have on blinders when analyzing the Gold Superman coin. I have no doubt that much of what you say is possible, but there are thousands of possibilities for the coin's future. There is no way to know what will happen with a coin (and it surely isn't basic mathematics) but that doesn't mean that the human mind isn't capable of making some of us think we know what will happen :P

yes I have to admit I am a tad bullish on Superman coins and the gold in particular but I do not claim infallibility as you suggest aswitzer ....just common sense. I'm in this for the long term and with any NCLT coins it pays to sell in either of two ways...either you sell on the buzz which is technically called flipping or you hold for long term and await the market judgement..I did flip one gold superman for 2k a while back and a few other coins.... as well as a set of 6 coins...the bulk of my collection of the Superman release is not available as yet and will await developments or become a part of my core collection and I will definitely keep at least one set for that.....go Superman

looking at the ebay section again I'm seeing a consistant number of auctions returning nice prices for NGC graded PF70 silver ..Shields and Holograms are hitting 200-300 plus in that grade which tells me the investment potential is confirmed in this series on those 1 oz silver coins........There is a definite reduction in gold Superman sales and availabilty and yet the Sets of 7 coins are becoming more numerous......all in all the number of listings has dropped by a third as the market Supermania is settling down

My friend in the US has the only graded NGC gold superman and Robert is very proud of it. I thought it was cool for it to grade that high. I wonder how many graded gold superman coins there are.
