$35 in pennies today with only 1 1945 wheat to show for it. I think the lady who runs the roller machine cherry picks the coins.

I'm gonna wait a week or so and give it one more chance and if I get duds, I think I'm going to turn it into a dump bank.

How do you guys go about getting bags and boxes that produce? I'm not even sure I can get boxes in my area.

If you're in the US, you're not far from a productive source. To think someone's pickin, you must be from a very small town. That lot was awful. You didn't say if you scored these from a bank/CU.
Rest in Peace

Rockhound, go to you bank and ask for a box of pennies/ cents it is a $25.00 box with 50 rolls of cents. These should be available at any bank. In most cases this should be an even exchange $25.00 for a box of $25.00 / 50 rolls. In your start ask if you can get customer wrap or federal wrap. In a small community there are other's like me , I ask for fed wrap.
I also ask for older boxes not to get a box of 2013, which could have some suprise

Wow. One wheat the whole time...
Does the bank really know what an "older box" is? Or will they just give you the same box they would have anyway....

Yes I'm in the u.s. I live in a very small community and I know no one else crh's in my area ( lots of dopies and people that dont care). At the local bank I have an account at its no problem to pull 7 or 8 wheats in $20 worth, I got an 1916 the other day. But I'm starting to wander if this bank rerolls their customer stuff.

I found lots of copper from 59 to 82 but no wheats, heck I didn't even pull a Canadian out of it! I usually get 8 or 9 of those.

I meant to say I dont think I can get bags of pennies in my area. The only fed wrapped pennies they have are new.

Definitely stick with bank boxes -- at least then you should get pretty standard yields. 3,500 pennies yielding just one wheat is awful.

Wow that stinks. I hope your pickup bank isn't polluted.
