I own and buy lower and higher grade coins but a coin is what it is. And this IS not an insult to the owner of this coin, the OP asked for opinions, why do you care what my opinion is?. Bababooey Valued Member United States 374 Posts	Posted 09/10/2013 03:08 am For what it is worth, it seems like 1817 Large Cents of similar condition (or even much worse condition) have been selling in the $25-$35 range according to the sold ebay listings. This is probably a good (? the best) indication of its value; as that is what people are actually paying. It is also probably what one could sell it for if listed on ebay. PS nice clear picture, btw.
