Such a shame to have the dealer melt them all down, some of those coins look to be in really nice condition.

One of those doesn't look American - now I'm worried this is another case of a dealer sending unknown foreign coins to be melted, regardless of value...

He doesn't melt them down just sells them at scrap prices. The chain itself will be melted. They're all cleaned common dates. The one that isn't American is a 5 Franc, IIRC.
