It was a day. Just like any other day. Dark, dank and dirty. My mood was no better! My main squeeze Hunny Bunny was on the horn as soon as she awoke and called her sister that activated the "shopping gene." This Garrett Gumshoe was riding high and dry. Called the side kick and his broad told me in no uncertain terms that Navy Davy was hot on the case of some hot goods at the local flea market. Had to go solo on this caper. In the closet I viewed the arsenal and opted for a Freedom 3 Plus with a fresh load of 3-9 volt copper tops. Quota was out there and I was going to collect the bounty.

Stopped at Sis's Slop Shop" grabbing a cup of joe that was as dark as the sky. Word on the street that quota could be had at Rocky Lake Road Junior High. Was there in a snap and all looked quiet.....too quiet! Out of the trunk came my weapon with a lesche for added good measure. My bones creaked, the sky threatened once again to let loose. I gridded off where I thought my prey was hiding, the Garrett blasting away with that comforting bell tone and in two hours five minutes the job was done....like I. Slowing down, in pain and needing a brewski. Took my prisoners, threw them in the trunk and motored home. Fixed a tall one with a lot of ice.......the ice pack that is for my knee. Home alone I was lost. Hunny Bunny was still exercising that "gene." so I figured, and rightly so to exercise my "hunny dew list." Three loads of wash in, dishes done and home made spaghetti a cooking. Looking out the window of the laundry room the skies opened up full throttle....just the "Big Guy" flexing his muscle to show who was really in charge. Just a typical day in the life of the "Garrett Gumshoe."

Good day Sarkany!
Love reading about your adventures. Sorry to hear about the knee pain but I guess you have to take the good with the bad. Anyhoo, you're a good man and Hunny Bunny should appreciate you doing all those chores!

Cheers
