I can't offer any help on whether they're real or not, but you have two old "hammered" gold coins. The first one is British, with Elizabeth I (ER), and the second one is an early hammered 8-escudo Spanish gold piece. Both of these sound pretty valuable, and I'm not a crack shot with coins this old, so I'll leave it up to our British and world experts to fully attribute!

There is also a higher chance that they're fake, though, because these are some fairly large and old gold coins which would make a lot of profit for a counterfeiter, whether he was trying to make fakes to spend when these coins were in use or fakes to fool modern collectors.

'Fake' was the first thought for me that came up, but that is only because of what I have read.
I WILL NOT say 'yea' or 'nay' about these, simply because I have no experience with them.

Nevertheless, nalaberong makes an important point.

That's H K, nalaberong, not E R! And the obverse legend reads HENRIC VIII RUTILANS ROSA SINE SPINA ("Henry VIII, a dazzling rose without a thorn!") The coin is a Crown of the Double-Rose, the H standing for Henry, and the K for Katherine; perhaps with some variety analysis we might be able to say which of Henry's Katherines this coin referred to!
And, welcome filmoedas!

The second coin is actually a gold half real of Flanders, minted in Bruges under the rule of Philip II of Spain: PHS D G HISPANIARV REX CO F (Philip, by the grace of God, king of Spain and Count of Flanders).

Again, welcome filmoedas! Or should I say, bem-vindo?
