Another find in the pile. Any idea of grade or value? I know it's an important date, just not how important.

Thanks again guys!

G4 - notice no letters in liberty on the obverse, and the ribbon at the bottom isn't separated. http://www.pcgs.com/photograde/#/Indian/Grades

Numismedia has a G4 1871 Indian Head worth $71. You may get close to that.

is that the best picture you can get?

From it color has the look of a penny that has been cleaned,.

Does the picture shows the same color as when you have the coin in person?

A 'good' IHC with out damage or cleaning show look in the brownish range of colors.

I'm waffling between G-4 and G-6.
No apparent distracting marks; just honest wear.
The greysheet lists Good at $70.
