Can anyone tell me if this is some kind of a misprint, I have a set of unc 10 rupee notes with following serialnumbers. And bot topnumbers have the same thick ink in the last number. Maybe this series had some kind of overprint, can anyone tell more about it? All infor is welcome!

Nice notes. The ink on the serial number is applied with rollers which are inked. It looks like the rollers got extra ink. Since the notes are in UNC there is a bit of a premium but not much.

The usual value is $1 for the 10 rupee notes in UNC. I would say these are worth about $1.25 to the right collector. The 10 rupee note is the most common Indian banknote issued.
