Help With Grading Service - Coin Community Forum

shaban Valued Member United States 161 Posts	Posted 09/21/2013 1:02 pm I'm trying to submit a coin through NGC, but do I have to sign up to a paid membership in order to send coins in? I only have one coin that I'd like to get graded and if I have to pay the $39 membership+grading fee it wouldn't be worth it. Anyone have any experience with this? Report this Post to the Staff

NathanASE Pillar of the Community United States 1511 Posts	Posted 09/21/2013 2:37 pm For NGC you either have to buy the membership of be a member of ANA, and then you can submit. For PCGS you also have to pay for membership. ANACS accepts submitions with no membership and there prices are also lower. They don't bring as much in the market if your slabbing for resale... But there verry accurate with grading and attribute varrieties more than the other two combined. I actually have a submition there right now.. Hope this helps! Edit* If you sign up at ANACS it's free, but make sure to also sign up to be an ANACS insider (also free). as they have great "insider" deals for free grading's and other specials.. On the submission form for ANACS, it says the return shipping info "fedex acct #" or "exp. mail acct #". Do I have to have an account with fedex to send it in or do I get that when I go to fedex?
