There is no Krause-like book for "world ancients". You need to buy specific books for each coin series: Greek, Roman, Byzantine, Axumite, Chinese and so forth. The Sear catalogues are the only published price listings for Greek, Roman and Byzantine coins that I am aware of. They cost about $100 per volume, and you'll need to buy two Greeks, one Byzantine and five Roman books to complete the set (though the fifth Roman one hasn't quite been published yet). The Sear Greek Imperial book is rather useless for trying to value specific coin types, so I wouldn't recommend it. Quite a hefty bill for Roman catalogues, if you don't really need to know prices.
Don't say "infinitely" when you mean "very"; otherwise, you'll have no word left when you want to talk about something really infinite. - C. S. Lewis
