Grade received today.....

ICCS MS65 1943 50c Far 3.

Next time I'm at ICCS I'll bring this coin to Brian and Scott and ask them if they had any thoughts about grading it ms66.

It's that nice and I believe it deserves strong consideration as a 66.

Also....I noticed the error in my original listing (the title "KGV"?) and I'm surprised no one corrected me on it.

If you do that, bring along four or five of the crappiest George VI ICCS MS-65 50c coins you can find, show them all the coins, and then ask your question about that 1943.

Pretty coin! Now as I'm not yet a real "collector", I'll ask the gauche question: How much is a coin like that worth in today's market? LOL

Trends is $1500.

You may be able to buy a 'not-so-good' ms65 for $750, but I wouldn't want to part with this one for less than a $1200.

I'm somewhat confident it'll grade an ms66 someday or some collector will see the coin is a very high ms65 and will pay the 'extra' premium I'm seeking for this coin.

An absolutely splendid coin, hard to find with such high-quality surfaces and so few marks. Quite a find! Congratulations and thanks for sharing.

Best Regards,

George
