A similar Lire 20 (the reverse is identical) is identified as a token (issued 1943).

Your commemorative token carries the date Mussolini was killed (April 28, 1945). The inscription on the reverse means: "Better to live one day as a lion than 100 years as a sheep". This token probably was minted well after WW II.

There has been a prior (2011) topic on Mussolini fantasy tokens.

The reverse of this token is the same as the 1928 KM#70 20L. 20.0 g. 35mm. The real coin has King Vit. Em III on the obverse as no coins were minted picturing Mussolini during fascism. The 1928 coin was minted to celebrate 10 years of armistice ending WW I.
