This variety shows a weak punching of an S mint mark, lines under the 1 and 9 of the date.

Wow ... I can recognize and appreciate the passion for variety searching ... but honestly wondering when the miniscule differences visible only under magnification matter to the collecting public.

No offense intended to the OP for this fine coin ... but truly ... where does the variety small difference matter?

Actually, this is true of coin collecting in general; as a non-coin-collector person would view it. A much overlooked rule is varieties needing more than 10X power are to minor to classify. However, detailed photos are needed for other forum members to help the coin owner to decide if that coin is the variety. TO EACH HIS/HER OWN!

nicklesearcher, on non-BU, brown specimens of this variety can be seen with the naked eye.
