Dave L Valued Member United States 484 Posts	Posted 09/26/2013 12:40 am This note was originally issued without the overprint in 1961-1963. The overprint is part of an the Brazilian monetary reform in 1966 and 1967. They removed three zeros from their money, making 1000 cruzeiros equal to only 1 cruzeiro novo - or your 10 cruzeiro note only worth 1 centavo. Your note appears to have the correct title of Ministro, and according to the catalog would have been issued in 1967. Report this Post to the Staff
