I am thinking of sending most of them back ,please tell me whether I'm wasting my time keeping this coin in it's lower grades. Cheers. MobOfRoos Pillar of the Community Australia 762 Posts	Posted 10/04/2013 10:53 pm The 1997 50c has a mintage of only 4.3 million but that still makes it fairly common in circulation as they don't mint as many 50c as they do the lower denominations. It would have to be a very bad 1985 or 1993 for me to throw it back. I do find that the more I have (especially the more common coins) the fussier I get. Jeff Report this Post to the Staff
