Somebody on ebay has both the 2012 Millennium Falcon, and 2012 Darth Vader (both starwars 'newer' movies) 4-coin sets listed at $297 + shipping. The mint.ca has the 2011 sets ('older series' of Starwars)So, here is a case of one of those things where just nobody wants them. Especially at the opening prices that the mint was asking. I wouldn't put too much value in the 'cases' as they just look like something Matel threw together for Star Wars buffs - as for the coins at $75/ounce - these days is a bit pricey, but back in 2011 Silver was a bit more (close to $50/oz) so, who knows where these will end up.

Typical NZ Mint recent years product:
Ordinary print over the 1oz coin surface, combined in the set with nice(probably) storage/display box.

Yes, as fan of the Star Wars, I would like to purchase some saga-related coin. But it should be done (minted) properly - proof finish, colorized elements, "strong" design.
Why not Millenium Falcon or Destroyer or X-Wing in the space (these just an examples) or something like this.....real picture, and not silly image of some characters on the coin.
Single coins, not just set...

This is representation of the saga, that captures entire worlds and galaxies? Come on....they should learn from LEGO.

Plus proper advertisement and promotion can do right thing.

This is my view, and all these may be above the reasons that this product is still for sale.
