Got my little gem today. Tiny coin at 10mm and .9 grams. Hopefully I'll be able to attribute it. Thanks FR.

Any guess who it might be. I'm thinking maybe Theo II.

I really have no clue myself either. The 'bust' is almost comical. Looks like a light bulb character from a Dept. of Energy educational video. The real difficulty with it is in trying to photograph it. Gets very annoying when the dust specs keep getting in the way !

I think it is a GLORIA EXERCITVS, two soldiers and one standard, reverse of the family of Constantine, imitated in Britain where small and very small flans abound. It is often not possible to make out a name on these, but CONSTANS is common.

I've been trying to make out the legend but not having any luck. I think you all are right that it is a Barb.

Oh my goodness, what a lovely surprise this morning! My red coin, probably Claudius: My Green coin: Don't know who this is, there is a vague figure on the reverse which might help identifying the coin if I can nail the emperor: A dinky little coin, I have the mint so will start looking this evening: AND MY ABSOLUTE FAVOURITECast by FR's own fair hands, a uniface. Not sure what to do with him yet, keeping him in his own 2 x 2 so I don't lose him. Can you remember which coin it was cast from, what was on the reverse, it might be fun to try and track down the real McCoy? Thank you so much.

You might be wondering why I didn't post anything about my coins. The reason is, I still hadn't received them. Until today. ...Okay, so far I only received the postal slip saying that there's something for me. And the post office had already closed for the weekend, so I won't receive the actual coins until at least Monday. Also, apparently the slip was stamped at the post office on October 15, but didn't reach my mailbox until today (or at least I'm sure it wasn't there when I checked on Thursday - don't remember whether I checked on Friday as well). As far as I can tell, incoming post is only saved for one month, so I guess I would have to hurry (i.e. try to get it on Monday). But I hope that on Monday I would finally get the coins, and could probably post them on the forum and no, it wouldn't be my longest wait for a parcel of coins from America, either.
