Human-less grading? Not going to happen any time soon. It will cost too much to develop/implement a solid platform, and the benefit is unproven.

Yes, unfortunately while we probably have the technology it would be pretty difficult to assemble the reference set. And then get people to agree on it!

Grading of coins is a matter of opinion,always has been,always will be,can't be a science.
When online grading comes,you'll still have to choose whose grading you like best as there will be competing platforms.
"Dipping" is not considered cleaning...
