1960 Silver Penny Could It Be Real?

1PPCLI Valued Member Canada 61 Posts	Posted 10/12/2013 01:27 am I have posted before on this penny and was told to weigh it, well I have and here are the weights of a regular 1960 penny and the silver one I found. I know it isn't a coating on the penny (like spray paint because I scratched the edge of it and it was silver under it. if it is silver what is my next step, do I have it graded? where do I send it? is the metal really silver or is it treated with a chemical to make it look silver? I just want to know what I have or if I have anything special here? Report this Post to the Staff
