I found this 1996 D Penny in a role today and it looks like it has an extra E at the end of E Pluribus. The extra E seems to be raised up not sunk in. Just want to know your thoughts on it. Thanks.

Post pics of the whole penny.

If the penny is circulated, then it is just damage of some sort.
