A new twist on unsearched rolls on ebay.

Now we have unsearched US Mint boxes.

It is nice of that hairy fellow to be wearing latex surgical gloves so you unsearched box won't arrive full of hair and fingerprints.

Kinda common? I see the same in 60s sets, unsearched in the original sealed envelope.

I don't blame the sellers... it's the buyers.

People need to use common scene today when buying stuff.

OK guys, what is the issue here? The seller is simply saying the sets are not cherry picked. I don't understand the problem.

Just used wrong terminology. Should have just said never opened or as shipped from the Mint. He already has 10 bids so obviously others are ignoring his use of the UNSEARCHED word.

I agree with smokeriderdon... all he is really saying is they aren't cherry picked. Looking at the picture tells me they are opened out of the mint packaging - so anything beyond that is buying on faith. I don't partake in the "unsearched" "unopened" bogus claims.

Unsearched mint boxes is really for the First Strike/Early Release label birds. I think the majority of bidders understand it's not an unopened Mint shipping parcel. Maybe the usage is wrong but the idea is correct. He probably cut even on that particular set and wants to unload them
