I've had this one in my sock drawer for years. I thought that I'd share it with you all as I find it to be an interesting coin.

In 1992 Mexico went through monetary reform and declared that 1000 old pesos equaled 1 new peso, so the face value of this coin became worthless.

The coin is the size of an Ike dollar.

I'm not sure which side is the obverse or reverse. Either way, one side has the Mexican eagle seated atop a cactus eating a snake.

The other side is the Aztec goddess Coyolxauhqui. She is the Moon goddess according to Aztec mythology. Her name means "Golden Bells".

I like this coin, as it's one of the few "recent" Mexican old peso coins I'm missing.

And - oh my! Krause says it has a 0.9 millimeter edge on the Ike dollar. I'm currently negotiating one on Numista, and if I get it it'll become the new largest coin in my collection...
