Posthumous, DIVA FAVSTINA PIA, SIDERIBVS RECEPTA (received from the heavens, or perhaps closer as 'received by the heavens' - the literal translation is Stars receive). DIVA FAUSTINA JUNIOR, daughter of Antoninus Pius, wife of Marcus Aurelius. Died 175/6 AD. Æ Sestertius (23.69 gm, 12h). Commemorative issue struck under Aurelius, circa 175/6 AD. Draped bust right / Diva Faustina, as Diana, holding torch; crescent behind neck. RIC III 1715 (Aurelius); MIR 18, 64-6c; BMCRE 1584 (Aurelius); Cohen 215. Report this Post to the Staff
