The reverse is GLORIA ROMANORVM - glory of the romans. It shows two legionairres guarding standards. I cant help with mint eithout a better picture. Overcleaned.
If this was dug in the UK then chances are that a Brit cut a hole in it during the ancient times to wear - when the romans buggered off out of Britain, a lot of coins were holed or put into rings and things and that hole was probably from around then. Would be easier to tell if the patina was still there, but a lot of coins were holed then.
