Hi,

I am looking for an authentic, unslabbed, uncleaned standing libety quarter that is AU55 or AU58 grade. My budget is up to $90..The year does not matter...Any feedback or suggestions would be appreciated!

to CCF.You need to have at least 50 post to buy, sell, trade with members. Why not a slabbed coin, you can always break it out of the slab.Check cheap slabs.com.

Finding a raw AU58 SLQ is difficult. The AU58 grade is not easy to detect. Even AU55 is not easy. It comes down to strike and wear. If you know you want a true AU55 to AU58 but an already slabbed coin and look for one with a CAC sticker to stand behind it. For fun I would suggest getting a Full Head coin. There are plenty of AU58 full head graded coins out there in that price range.

And you can probably forget about getting one for $90.

Most AU55 later date FH coins are in the $75-85 range in the guides. Yes an AU58 would be a little over $100 but you could watch for a deal.

As I mentioned in the Silver Eagle at $2 over spot post I am a cash buyer.

I am highly skeptical the anyone can by a slabbed AU non detail FH SLQ for less than $200.

As I said if you have one for $100 I have a new Benjamin for you.

I am going to take this moment - without deleting/editing any content or chastising anyone - to strongly remind the membership of CCF's strict rules involving commerce or the offer thereof on the forum. We limit that privilege to established members and specific locations for very good reason, and will not tolerate any bending of the rules. Again, no harm, no foul regarding anything already posted here but it might perhaps be a good time to reinforce one's understanding of our rules.
