A Belgian 5 francs coin of 1876. These were the last large (crown size) silver coins minted for circulation by the Belgian Royal Mint.

A quarter Anna from British India:

Indian non-decimal coinage was far ahead of its time. One rupee = 16 anna. The anna was further split into quarters.
A perfectly binary system, ideally suited for computers... which were to be invented during the next century.

A Belgian silver 5 Francs coin. Those are popular collector's items since they often are found in VF or better. Smaller denominations of that period usually are worn with more decent grades selling at a considerable premium.
