A different variety of 1861 One Penny to NumisRob's One Penny, the main difference on the reverse. Under the lighthouse the sea is completely over the boarder. On the obverse Victoria's ribbons appear thinner, and the colon after F:D: is further away from Victoria. As Rob said, there a many varieties of this coin.

The larger version of the coin shown a few days ago.
Issued for only four years; this one has the highest mintage of the short series.
I drove 2 hours in a nor'easter blizzard to bid on this coin.

One of these has been posted, but it is in my folder of coins to post. I am trying to see how far I can go with out missing a year. I got a late start (2001), I am pretty sure I will start missing years in the near future. I really need to get into my coin boxes and try to find some that are good enough to post.

Austria, 1 florin, 1860

A great old coin from the Austrian Empire (it only became Austria-Hungary after the Hungarians got jealous in 1867), I bought it for melt value.
