With a few exceptional 1702's shown, it unfortunately seems we got stuck at that year.
If you've got a worn out 1701 copper, don't be shy to post it.
After a long sabbatical, I'm patiently waiting at the side lines to post the first of my few 17th century coins.

That really is an outstanding Patagon, you've got there Jgenn.
It also illustrates the evolution of the minting press technology:
My 'undated' = 1612 Patagon is minted on a roughly round blank, on a press without edge confinement. Edge lettering (edge dies) were yet to be invented.
Blanks were of poor quality and I feel lucky my coin doesn't show any major cavities, which unfortunately were common in those early days.

Historically interesting piece. Issued before the Margrave of Brandenburg elevated himself to be a king - it's good to be a king For all who do not know: Prussia proper was never part of the Holy Roman Empire and the original Prussians were a Baltic people. |

1697 soon and the only coin I have to show for that year hasn't yet arrived! a little surprising that in our age of shipping and posting by air mail it still may take as long or even longer than it probably did when they only had carriages and ships and horses....
