Last weekend I got (at last) my first coin from Scotland. The legend on my coin is nearly the same as the 1678 Scotland 6 pence: CAR.D.G.SCO.AN.FRA.ET.HIB.R. CAROLUS DEI GRATIA SCOTLAND ANGLIAE FRANCIAE ET HIBERNAE REX Charles, by the grace of God, king of Schotland, England, France and Ireland NEMO ME IMPUNE LACESSET NEMO ME IMPUNE LACESSIT Nobody provokes me unpunished
