1600 Quattrino Pope Clement VIII Rome (Papal States) Issued for the Jubilee of 1600, hence the date on the inside of the Holy Door (written in Roman Numerals as MDC). Coins like this were issued every 25 years for the jubilee.

Just curious, how do you know it is 1599 if it is undated? Remember, if you can determine the exact year, it counts. Quote: Coins should be dated, preferably with common era dating, but it is acceptable if the date can be converted from another calendar. It is also acceptable if the date can be determined to the exact year from other criteria; however, how it was determined needs to be explained (links are okay). I know Petrus has a 1598 ready to go. I hope we have a 1599 come along.
