From occupied Belgium, this 1915 zinc 25 Centimes: As compared to the equally unpopular WW-II zinc coinage, much less have survived of these ones.

I have posted my 1915 gold, and here is 1915 silver from the same country: Austria, 1 corona, 1915 Once I finish my date-set of Austrian Schillings I'm thinking of starting on Austrian Coronas, which are more expensive and have more rare dates. Sadly, if you include Austrian Coronas, then you're also obligated to start on Hungarian Koronas (because it's a Dual Monarchy!)... and then you end up expanding to the still fairly-common Florins and Forints... and then before you know it you're paying hundreds of Euros for rare-date thalers in some tiny mountain village after leaving your wife and family behind while you giggle maniacally. The sad part is that all of these coins are lovely and worth buying.

I'll stay with the Barber dimes as we move down to 1914. This one's very pretty in hand.

Wow--that's a beautiful proof! Quote: Is this a point where this post starts to slow down? Not for me...most of my coins are still to come.

Not for me...most of my coins are still to come. I have been trying to get pictures ahead .. been trying to figure out what year I will get to .. and not have a coin. Maybe mid 1870's or maybe 1850's All kidding a side ... we are seeing some really nice looking coins
