1912 Half Penny from Australia. Sorry I only have pics of one side, but it is very humid here at the moment and I don't think it would be wise to remove the coins from the 2x2's just to take a pic of the other side.  Steve  |

1912(H) NICARAGUA 1 CORDOBA; 0.900 silver; mintage= 35 thousand:   This is a fairly scarce one year type. You'd be a lucky ducky to find one in a melt tub. It's about silver dollar size; I don't have the exact dimension because Krause doesn't include that and the coin is packed away. It was one of my first ebay purchases when returning to coin collecting after a forty year hiatus from the hobby.

Just checked this one in Sweeney's "A Numismatic History of the Birmingham Mint". Says Heaton's minted 35,000 but only 7,000 entered circulation.
