Is this coin too Canadian? There has been very little talk or interest so far. Just wonder what you all think of it.

BTW, Hub City Coins has lots of videos of the recent releases. Just follow the youtube link above.

Too Rockwellian for my taste. I think they should've made one of the skaters a girl too.

If It would be a bear, caribou, buffalo,or a maple leaf playing hockey then it would sell.
The dog is perfect.

I very like this coin, despite that it coloured (cause I see details here, many details), I would like to see it in my collection. But will not get it, due to limits that I've put.

I mentioned the coin in the November thread but no one seemed to like the coin or at least pay it any attention. I think it's well executed and have ordered this coin. I assume it might not be selling well because it seems extremely Canadian. I just hope the background in silver is done well.

Well it's an iconic Canadian scene alright, but the coin doesn't really reach out and grab me.

As chequer said, it's too "Rockwellian".

When I saw the picture for first time I LOVED it but I don't agree to pay $100 for every colored coin RCM will release. $69.95 as the Banknote coin and I buy it.

I like it, and if they hadn't come out with the coloured polar bear and caribou, I would have more than likely have gotten it.

I was originally just going to get the polar bear but talked myself into getting the caribou.

Just can't see me getting all three.

I'm sure this coin will look better in person but I'll pass. Too many items to choose from.

Mine arrived today. Hockey has always been a big part of my life and this coin is simply fantastic.

There were a lot of great designs this year but most were overlooked just because of the sheer number of coins available.

I'm very glad you like it, CC-Ottawa!

It looks like this winter will be a good one (COLD) for outdoor rinks and ponds.
