Scott, I agree with you with the BEWARE... but I disagree with you about scanned images vs digital photos. Scanners and cameras are BOTH capable of creating false representations of the subject, whether due to inadvertent improper use of either tool by the operator or planned fraud by the unscrupulous seller. ebay is rife with examples of both good and bad images, from both scanners and cameras.

If you come across a questionable image, why not simply ask for another under varying light condition, angle, etc.? For higher priced items, sellers should be able to comply with such a request without question. Unfortunately, there are the less then honest sub-population of sellers who intentionally post inadequate images (whether from scanner or camera), in hopes of duping potential buyers in thinking they've found a gem.

Beware to all of you this scammer guy, I found out the coin that mr scott he was warning of us about, and the guy he is got it list one more time again, and it look like he use the same one of pictures in the listing, and is gonna scam again somebody else, I cant believe this guy he know that picture does not look at all like the coin it does in the hand, but here it is the listing, eh
