Hey all, where can I find magnets to use for sifting out foreign coins? I am looking to get some to use by hand and for use with a Cummins Jetsort.

Thanks!

Run a fridge magnet over them.

Wallmart, Kmart, flea markets and anyplace that sells refrigerator magnets. Auto parts stores too have those.
I carry one in the shape of a pen almost all the time.

Find some old speakers. Better yet, some old hard disk drives.

All good suggestions for foreign coin sorting.
Might even try the door seal of a refrigerator,Flex-able easy on pockets

I got three rare earth magnets online for about $15 shipped. They work great for Canadian and some other countries I experimented with. These should help. Thanks all for the suggestions, but fridge magnets would be ineffective when working with a coin sorter or a larger than handful batch on coin.

If you tried an auto parts store, most carry a magnet on a telecoping tube. That is like the one I carry. Some extend to almost 3 feet, some more and some less.
