So I have searched about 100,000 coins now in a little over 3 months and have found a good variety of errors. I have only found one broadstrike (actually it has a small sliver of a collar mark, so maybe its a tilted/partial collar).

the one I found was slanted in the clear roll wrap and it was starting to break where it sat due to the size of the coin.

It stands to reason that finding them in rolls is difficult due to them having to make it through the counter and not be rejected and they have to actually fit in the roll... nevermind them being more obvious and able to be picked out of circulation easier than say a WAM variety.

Just curious how many others have found and out of how many coins?

I have been searching nickels for several years and have found that the easiest to find errors in the denomination are as follows, misaligned dies, partial collars, and then major die breaks. I have never found any other sort of error. Some errors like die caps and broadstrikes are virtually impossible to find due to the fact that the error coin cannot fit in a standard coin roll for the denomination. I did find a single broadstrike 1999 nickel in a coin machine reject slot though.
Due to the hardness of the metal used in them, its easier to find major die breaks on nickels than on other denominations because the dies used to strike them break more than on other denominations (more broken dies = more error coins produced).

I've found lots of minor clips, stuff like that, but this is by far the coolest thing I've ever found;

How-Often-Do-You-Find-Broadstrikes,-Off-Center,-Etc?

Double struck broadstrike with a reeded edge. First strike was normal, in-collar, second strike was out of collar. Minimal to no rotation between strikes. The only example I know of.

That is a cool find!

There were 10 lincolns and 5 dimes mixed in the last box I just did. Brinks wasn't doing well that day I guess.
I was hoping one of the lincolns was in there because it was a broadstrike and was sorted that way. No luck! haha

Did manage a clipped out of the box though.

Fred Weinberg said probably $500. I disagree, there was a similar one (doublestruck broadstrike, no reeded edge) sold by Heritage back in '06 and that went for $450 or so IIRC. I'm thinking, properly marketed and retailed, $750. Wouldn't part with it for at least 2x-3x that, though, so it's effectively in my collection for life.
