hi guys I found this today in some change was wondering , if it might be a double die obv , its a d mint mark

Still, I think a high-resolution close-up is the only way to determine if this is a doubled-die. Do you have a digital camera? It's a good investment for a coin collector, especially one interested in errors.

Rim looks like it rolled around in the dryer for a while...would like a picture of the edge as well

I thought the edge/rim looked altered. The start of a Dryer Coin maybe? looking in the background...looks like someone is having cranberry sauce and crab dip for thanksgiving...lol

lol .. I was reading where some of the military guys would make rings out of the silver coins, and there called trench art or something to that nature..

This coin is not a doubled die. The '42-D DDO quarter is very dramatic and naked eye visible, this coin is not from that die.
